Consulting Services for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Analysis of Class 3 Trucks Statement of Work (SOW)
Introduction/Background In support of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA’s) safety mission, the Volpe Center has provided longstanding analytical and technical expertise to the Agency’s Motor Carrier Safety Applied Statistics and Analysis Program. The Volpe Center has also been tasked with exploring alternatives to FMCSA’s current methodology for measuring the effectiveness of the Agency’s roadside inspection program, the Roadside Intervention Effectiveness Model (RIEM).
