About this file

This document is a Notice to Prospective Bidders issued by the Western Federal Lands Highway Division for a forest road repair project. The notice announces Solicitation No. 69056727B000003 for Forest Road 7810 MP 0.1 Repair in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Pierce County, Washington. The work consists of excavation, stream diversion, bank stabilization, and planting on Forest Road 7810 from milepost 0.00 to 0.05. The notice indicates that preliminary plans have been released to assist prospective bidders in understanding the project scope and location. Since the project will be advertised during winter weather conditions when site viewing may be difficult, the Western Federal Lands Highway Division encourages bidders to visit the site during fall and early winter. Access to the locked gate must be arranged through Santino Pascua at the Snoqualmie Ranger District (santino.pascua@usda.gov / 425-888-8784); public access is not permitted.

The formal solicitation documents will be released during winter 2026/2027 and will be posted on SAM.gov, where prospective bidders should monitor for the actual release date and utilize the "Follow" feature for automatic notification. The work will be solicited under one bid schedule. Technical questions should be submitted to wfl.plansspec@dot.gov, while general inquiries can be directed to wfl.contracts@dot.gov or 360-619-7520. The notice dated November 2, 2026, clarifies that Federal Highway Administration personnel will not be available for show-me tours and identifies two routes to the project site: the Construction Access Route and the Equipment/Materials Haul Route.
