About this file
This document is an Amendment A001 to a federal solicitation for the MT FLAP VALLEY 20(1), Duck Creek Road project. The amendment revises the Special Contract Requirements by adding new subsections for Fertilizing and Seeding under the Turf Establishment section, as well as adding a new section for Fertilizer under Roadside Improvement Material.
The key changes include specifying the application rates for fertilizer and seeding, and providing the required seed mixture composition. The solicitation number is 69056724B000013, and it is issued by the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration. The amendment does not extend the offer receipt deadline, which remains the same as the original solicitation.

Determine the amount of “live seed” in a container by the following formula:
Net weight of seed in container multiplied by the purity percentage multiplied by the germination percentage. (If seed is 85 percent pure and tests 90 percent germination, then a 100-pound (45.4-kilogram) container would contain 76.5 pounds (34.7 kilograms) of “live seed”.)
