About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a federal highway construction contract. The amendment revises special contract requirements and traffic control plans for a multi-phase pavement preservation project in Colorado managed by the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration. Revisions include limiting work during specific event days, staggering work across no more than two parks at a time, protecting existing wheel stops, and requiring two-way radio communication between traffic controllers. Nighttime work is permitted but must use downcast lighting and minimize off-site impacts. The amendment also modifies labor standards clauses and the definition of subcontracting self-performance. Offerors must acknowledge any amendments prior to the solicitation response deadline.
