About this file
This notice provides details for an upcoming federal construction contract solicitation. The Western Federal Lands Highway Division will solicit bids to construct vault toilets at the Big Bend and St. Mary pullouts along the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana. Prospective bidders are encouraged to view the project sites in fall 2020 using the attached Google Earth file and site photos, as access may be limited due to snow during the upcoming winter solicitation period. All borrow, topping, and aggregate materials must be sourced from commercial suppliers passing a weed inspection by the park to be deemed acceptable. Bidders should submit any requests for supplier inspections by fall 2020 to the identified FHWA project manager. The solicitation documents will be posted on SAM.gov during winter 2020-2021 and interested parties should follow the opportunity on SAM.gov to receive notifications.
