NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
RE: OR DOT 204(1)
Weston-Elgin Highway Resurfacing Solicitation No. 69056719B000029
The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective Bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during fall as conditions permit. After November 1st, access will be weather dependent; contact the Oregon Department of Transportation for current road conditions at https://www.tripcheck.com/. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for show-me tours.
Two Bid Schedules - The work will be solicited under two alternate schedules, with different amounts of work in each schedule. One schedule will be awarded. See the Description of Work document for additional details.
• Schedule A consists of work from MP 22.28 to MP 40.25.
• Schedule B consists of all work (MP 20.49 to MP 40.25).
Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located in Union County, Oregon.
• State Route 204(1) o MP 20.78 to MP 26.7 - 2 inch hot asphalt concrete overlay o MP 26.7 to MP 40.25 - 2 inch mill and 2 inch hot asphalt concrete inlay o MP 22.28 Spout Springs Sno-Park – Pavement reconstruction and 2 inch mill and 2 inch hot concrete overlay o Paved weigh station at MP 35.5 – 2 inch mill and 2 inch hot asphalt concrete inlay o Spot guardrail repair and replacement including end sections
• Morning Creek, Woodland and Andies Prairie Sno-Parks – Spot pavement repair, crack sealing and chip seal
