About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for installing a water service line at 1722 Bixby Rd., Mounds, OK. The project involves furnishing and installing a 2-inch ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe with PE 4710 IPS DR 11 specifications, using Silver-Line Plastics Sil-O-Flex OD DR 11 or an approved equal. The installation requires a minimum 30-inch deep trench, with specific backfilling and compaction requirements, and must maintain proper separation from existing sewer lines.
Key technical specifications include using non-flare compression fittings with stainless steel pipe stiffeners, a brass ball valve, and a polyethylene valve box. The work must be performed Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with three business days' notice to the Project Oversight, Leroy Arnold. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty for materials and labor, conduct leak testing before backfilling, and restore the site to its original condition upon completion. Rock excavation methods and site restoration are also detailed in the document.
