About this file
This is Addendum #2 to IFB 32-12-6472 issued by the California Department of Transportation - Division of Equipment. The bid due date is December 12, 2024, and the addendum addresses a single question regarding delivery timelines for truck bodies. The original delivery schedule requires 210 days for the first unit and 360 days ARO for the remaining units. A bidder requested extending these timelines to 270 days for the first unit and 450 days for the balance, but this request was denied by the Department as it would not align with the production schedule of the trucks these bodies will be mated with.
The addendum contains no pricing information, funding details, or other procurement terms. It simply clarifies that all other terms and conditions from the original IFB dated November 12, 2024, remain in full force and effect. The addendum must be included with submitted bids, and failure to return it may result in bid rejection.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question 1
On page 7 of 9 in BDYROFSPYTK53-044-241A, item 9 DELIVERY:
States 210 days for delivery of the 1st unit and 360 days ARO for the balance.
We feel that timeline to be too short.
Would you consider extending those dates to: 1st unit 270 days? Balance 450 days?
Answer 1
Unfortunately, your proposal does not meet our needs as our intention with the current delivery schedule is to keep pace with the production run of the trucks these bodies will ultimately mate with.
