The reconstruction of superstructures is anticipated to be completed on one side of I-90 at a time. Accelerated bridge demolition and construction will occur on mailto:MassDOTBIDDocuments@dot.state weekend periods only. The proposed Project will also include a detour for Flynt Street Bridge Replacement and limited weekend detours to Thorndike Street and Boston Road.

Thorndike Street and Boston Road will be closed and detoured on those limited weekends.
Flynt Street will be closed, and traffic will be detoured during construction of Flynt Street Bridge.
Utility Relocations
Existing Telecom/fiber-optic lines along I-90 at all three bridge locations will temporarily be relocated or protected in place until bridge reconstruction is completed.
