About this file
This is a minimum insurance requirements document for a Public Relations/News Syndicate Services project issued by the Office of Economic and Small Business Development for Broward County, Florida. The document specifies the mandatory insurance coverage types and minimum liability limits that vendors must maintain when providing public relations and news syndicate services to the county.
The insurance requirements include General Liability coverage with combined bodily injury and property damage limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability coverage of $500,000 for combined bodily injury and property damage (though this may be waived if no driving is required), Worker's Compensation at statutory limits if the vendor provides on-site services, Employer's Liability at $100,000 per accident, and Professional Liability/Media Liability coverage of $1,000,000 per claim and $2,000,000 aggregate with a maximum deductible of $100,000. Broward County must be named as an additional insured, the vendor's insurance must provide primary coverage without requiring contribution from the county, and a waiver of subrogation applies in favor of Broward County. For claims-made policies, insurance must be maintained and evidence provided for at least three years after contract completion.
