Evaluation Criteria for Grants Consultant

This document contains the evaluation criteria for Boulder County Public Health's (BCPH) request for proposals from a qualified grants consultant in Colorado. BCPH seeks a consultant to support the agency's public health funding strategy through identifying grant opportunities, developing competitive grant applications, and working collaboratively with the Grants Manager and program managers to strengthen proposal narratives and improve funding competitiveness. The consultant's responsibilities may encompass funding opportunity research, proposal development, application review, grant tracking, and creation of reusable grant-development tools and resources. The consultant should demonstrate proven success in grant writing and proposal development, particularly within public health, government, or nonprofit sectors.

The evaluation criteria document establishes the framework by which BCPH will assess and rank submitted proposals from consultant candidates. While specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, and response or due dates are not detailed in this evaluation criteria file itself, these elements would be found in the associated request for proposals. The evaluation criteria establish the technical and qualifications-based standards against which all submissions will be measured to determine the most qualified consultant to support BCPH's grant funding objectives.
