About this file

This is a Schedule B pricing cover page for Request for Proposal No. 260000001530 issued by the State of Michigan for Uniforms and Logo Wear. The RFP requires contractors to submit pricing schedules using an attached Excel worksheet in modifiable format, with failure to complete this requirement resulting in proposal disqualification. Contractors must provide pricing for all clothing articles and embellishments identified in the pricing matrix, including all associated costs such as one-time setup charges, shipping and handling, per-piece pricing, palletizing, overhead, and profit. The quantities listed in the pricing matrix represent estimated annual purchase volumes based on historical usage and are for evaluation purposes only; contractors are not guaranteed these volumes under the contract. Contractors may propose alternate brands to items listed in Schedule B only if they submit corresponding product data sheets labeled appropriately with their proposal.

Pricing proposals must comply with specific requirements including a minimum 15 percent discount off list price for items not included in Schedule B, with contractors permitted to offer higher discount rates or promotional pricing. Contractors must certify that prices were developed independently without consultation with competitors and provide detailed component breakdowns for pricing negotiation purposes, separating manufacturer costs, embellishment costs, overhead, and profit for embellished items and manufacturer costs, overhead, and profit for non-embellished items. The state's standard payment terms are Net 45 days; however, contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment discounts for invoices paid within specified timeframes and are particularly incentivized to provide quick payment discounts for purchases made via P-Card, which may be processed upon shipment and paid faster than standard terms.
