About this file
This is an accessibility compliance document for the University of Texas at Austin's Texas School Climate Program procurement. The document outlines the university's commitment to providing access and accommodation for individuals with disabilities in accordance with federal and state requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Texas Accessibility Standards. The document establishes that all vendors and contractors must ensure their proposed services, products, and facilities are accessible to individuals with disabilities, and that proposers must identify any accessibility barriers or limitations in their offerings during the proposal submission process.
The document requires vendors to provide detailed information regarding accessibility features, auxiliary aids and services, alternative formats for materials, and reasonable accommodations available to individuals with disabilities. Proposers must demonstrate compliance with applicable accessibility standards and regulations, disclose any accessibility limitations upfront, and commit to working collaboratively with the university to resolve any accessibility issues throughout the contract term. Non-compliance with accessibility requirements may result in proposal rejection or contract termination. This requirement applies to all aspects of the contracted work, including digital platforms, physical spaces, communications, and service delivery mechanisms.
