About this file
This document is a Scope of Work for Flexible Snow Plow Blades issued by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), outlining a 5-year Requirements Contract for procuring specialized snow plow blade systems. The contract seeks to provide flexible snow plow blades with tungsten carbide inserts, including mounting hardware and accessories, with blade lengths available in 36" and 48" configurations. UDOT will order products on an as-needed basis and does not guarantee specific order quantities. The procurement will result in an agency contract through UDOT's Division of Purchasing, with the solicitation number UDOT260082JB.
The contract includes specific pricing and escalation provisions, with contract pricing guaranteed for one year and subsequent price adjustments allowed annually with documented justification. Price changes are limited to a maximum of 5% based on market indexes, and contractors must provide detailed documentation for any proposed price modifications. Invoicing requirements mandate timely submissions to UDOT's Accounts Payable, with clear itemization and purchase order references. The blades must meet precise technical specifications, including isolated blade segments, reusable rubber components, steel segments with tungsten carbide inserts, and specific manufacturing tolerances. Delivery terms require all orders to be fulfilled within 60 calendar days, with potential discounts for late deliveries.
