About this file

This document is a Sole Source Determination Memo for the procurement of a one-year subscription to Fostering Families Today magazine by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) - Child Welfare for all 3,300 certified resource families in Oregon. The magazine is described as an award-winning bi-monthly print and online publication that provides information, support, and training to resource families and relative resource families. The sole source justification cites the lack of similar services or resources currently available in Oregon that would reach all certified families, and the unique content and information provided in the magazine from across the country. The total estimated contract value is $57,600, and the contract will be awarded to Fostering Media Connections, located in Los Angeles, California.

The document outlines the sole source authority, market research findings, and protest process. It notes the agency reserves the right to purchase additional goods and services related to the magazine subscription. The contract is for a one-year term, but does not mention any renewal options.
