This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the disposal of 10,732 lb. of non-hazardous sandblast grit in 14 barrels. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requires a vendor to provide personnel to pick up, transport, and dispose of the grit at a permitted disposal facility. The vendor must provide a manifest to properly transport the grit. The USCG will provide a forklift and Hazmat-trained personnel to load the transport truck. The vendor is responsible for providing Hazmat-trained personnel for pick-up and disposal. An onsite visit is not required, but the USCG will accommodate one if requested. The USCG will issue a purchase order and sign the vendor's proposal to proceed.
