About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the U.S. Coast Guard's requirement to procure four portable sponge blast systems for Industrial Production Facilities (IPFs) in Portsmouth VA, Miami Beach FL, New Orleans LA, and Boston MA. The systems will be used during dockside and drydock maintenance to remove coatings and corrosion in difficult-to-access areas of 45' RB-M, 47' MLB, and 49' BUSL vessels, specifically in engine rooms, auxiliary machinery spaces, and lazarettes.
Each system must include specific components: a feed unit (SJE-FE-470-CG-P or equivalent), recycler (SJE-RE-35P-LF or equivalent), two Saber nozzles, multiple blast and air hoses in varying lengths. Detailed technical specifications are provided for each component. Delivery is required by April 1, 2025, to the four specified IPF locations. The procurement is being conducted as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 336611. The contractor must provide factory training at each location and a minimum one-year warranty. Quotes are due by March 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST and should be submitted to Sandy Reed-Robinson with firm fixed pricing.
