About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Specification for graywater transfer pump units required for the USCGC Healy (WAGB-20) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP).

The Department of Homeland Security's United States Coast Guard is procuring three (3) new graywater transfer pump units assembled with pumps, motors, couplings (if applicable), and mounting bases. The pump specifications require centrifugal, close-coupled, end-suction, non-clogging pumps with recessed impellers capable of vertical or horizontal orientation and rated for wastewater service. Pump performance requirements include a design flow rate of 200 GPM at 95 FT total dynamic head (TDH), with a secondary design point of 300 GPM at 90 FT TDH, a shutoff head of 103 FT, and 3" NPS ASME 150# B16.5 flanged suction and discharge connections. All wetted components must be constructed of 316 stainless steel or CD4MCu. The motor must be a 20 HP, 1800 RPM induction motor with TEFC enclosure, rated for 460 VAC 3-phase 60 Hz ungrounded power systems, and designed for below-deck marine service per IEEE Standard 45. Equipment must operate continuously in ambient temperatures of 40°F to 120°F with relative humidity from 0% to 95%, and withstand dynamic ship conditions including 60-degree rolls, 6-degree pitch, and 4-foot heave. The vendor must supply Provisioning Technical Data (PTD) including manufacturer manuals, drawings, and pump curves, as well as Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to support maintenance procedure card development. Delivery is required within eight to eleven months after receipt of order, with skid-mounted shipping containers meeting ASTM D3951 standards. Additionally, vendors must provide a recommended onboard repair parts (OBRP) list for twelve-month sparing and system stock parts list for two-year support, with delivery within twelve months after receipt of order.
