About this file
This document contains questions from potential vendors and responses from the Securities and Exchange Commission regarding Request for Quote number 50310222Q0040 for a digital asset management system. The SEC requires a system to allow for uploading, storing, and remotely sharing large files such as video files in order to effectively edit and distribute outreach event videos. The system must integrate with single sign-on authentication and be compatible with the SEC's existing brand guidelines. Five users will need administrator rights to upload assets, edit metadata, and manage workflows and security. An additional 10-15 users will need access to search, view, and download assets. Vendors should provide separate quotes for different deployment options and plan to train 10-15 users during implementation.

DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – RFQ VENDOR QUESTIONS AND GOVERNMENT RESPONSES
RFQ 50310222Q0040 JULY 13, 2022
Question Number
Vendor Question
Government Response
1
To provide a proper quote, we need to understand the size of the user group for the SEC – how many folks will be logging in and uploading content?
There will be 10 -15 individuals uploading content.
2
How many folks will be logging in and just browsing/downloading content?
This may range between 50 – 7500 employees. We haven’t determined if the system will be agencywide
3
Integrations – aside from Adobe Creative Cloud – what other integrations would you like to connect to? Is there a CMS for the OPA/SEC.gov that you’d like to push content to?
We want integration with single sign-on or other authentication methods
4
The RFP mentions an integration to Spunk – can you please describe the nature of this integration? We have done a quick search over the internet and cannot find the software “Spunk”? Did you mean Splunk? If so, can you please describe what you would like to see from an integration perspective with a DAM?
Yes, this is Splunk. Our IT Security team will want to review various system logs
5
Is the SEC interested in having Brand Guidelines as part of this project? We work with a few government entities and they really enjoy having a portal for branding and templates for their partner content – I noticed it was not on the requirements, but figured it would be good to ask as it is possible in our platform.
The SEC already has a brand guideline. However, the portal will need to adhere to it
6
How does the SEC OPA handle marketing/requests and approvals? Is there an approval process needed for content? We specialize in working in regulated industries where compliance is of the upmost concern so just curious if this is also part of this evaluation
Requests come in via phone or email, and that section's manager approves the requests
7
Our system has multiple deployment options. Does the SEC want separate quotes for each deployment option?
Yes, the SEC requires different quotes for each deployment option
8
How many users will need only rights to search, view, and download assets?
10–15 users will need only rights to search, view, and download assets
9
How many users will need to administer the DAM, upload assets, edit metadata, design workflows, search, view, and download asset?
Five users will need to administer the DAM
10
How many business users will the vender need to meet with during the analysis sessions?
The vendor will need to meet no more than 10 users during the analysis sessions
11
How many environments will SEC require (e.g., Production, Development, Quality Assurance, Test, etc.)?
The SEC requires only the production environment
12
Can SEC provide DAM user use cases?
Yes the SEC can provide DAM user use cases
13
How many users will the vendor need to train during implementation?
The vendor will need to train 10 – 15 users during implementation
