About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) from the New Mexico General Services Department Purchasing Division for a Statewide Price Agreement for Watershed Protection Services. The agreement will be open to all New Mexico state agencies, commissions, political subdivisions, and local public bodies. The services requested include construction and forestry services on an as-needed basis to address threats to life and property caused by natural disasters that impact watersheds throughout New Mexico, as well as preventative measures. The agreement will be for a one-year term with two optional one-year extensions.

The ITB provides detailed specifications on the scope of work, contractor requirements, wage rates, bonding, and other construction-related terms and conditions. Pricing is requested for hourly labor rates, equipment rates, mileage, and a percentage discount on materials. Bids are due by October 3, 2024, and a virtual pre-bid conference will be held on September 19, 2024. Multiple awards are anticipated to ensure availability and timely delivery of services. The ITB also outlines the process for requesting and issuing specific work orders under the agreement.
