About this file
This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) for hologram bus passes for the 2026 calendar year, issued by MCT (likely a municipal transit agency). The procurement involves producing three types of bus passes: System Passes (2,400 total), Local Passes (8,400 total), and Student Passes (1,830 total), resulting in a combined total of 12,630 passes. The passes will be consecutively numbered, printed on 10 mil polyester with full-color fronts and black backs, and sized to standard credit card dimensions (3.370" x 2.125"). A critical requirement is the inclusion of a tamper-evident, metallized holographic foil featuring the MCT logo, which must have either pattern demetallization or a laser-etched clear window. Delivery of the completed passes is required by November 7th, 2025.
The passes will be packaged in clear shrink wrap in groups of 5, with specific monthly variations for student passes (175 passes January-May and September-December, 85 passes June-August). The bidding process requires written approval of proofs, with no overrun allowances, and any digital file changes must receive prior written consent from ACT. The holographic security feature must be non-reusable and visibly damaged if removal is attempted, ensuring tamper resistance. Final artwork, including the logo cut-out position, must be approved before production begins. Artwork for the passes will be provided by the issuing agency.

The holographic layer must be non-reusable and visibly damaged if removal is attempted, ensuring tamper resistance. Final artwork, including the logo cut-out position, must be approved before production begins.
Any digital file manipulation/changes made during pre-press work require ACT prior written consent and approval. We require written approval of the proofs. No overrun allowances.
