PR 35171592

A. BACKGROUND / PURPOSE

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County (“Court”) requires an enterprise‑grade API development and management platform to support its software development lifecycle and ensure consistent governance of integration services across Court Technology Services (CTS).

Postman is an industry‑leading platform used for designing, developing, testing, documenting, monitoring, and managing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). It supports major API protocols including:

• REST (Representational State Transfer) – the most common architectural style for web APIs

• GraphQL – a query‑language‑based API protocol providing efficient, flexible data retrieval

• MCP (Model Context Protocol) – an emerging API protocol supporting AI‑driven workflows and integrations

The Postman Enterprise platform will allow Court developers to manage the Court’s integration endpoints with visibility, version control, policy governance, SSO‑based access management, and monitoring tools. CTS leadership will gain oversight to ensure API lifecycle governance, security, and compliance with Court standards.
