About this file
This document is an Ownership Disclosure form from Broward County, Florida, pertaining to a Bulk Laundry Services contract for the Broward Addiction and Recovery Division and other county agencies. The open-end contract seeks to provide bulk laundry services for healthcare facilities, with solicitation requirements including living wage provisions, a Business Associate Agreement, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certificate, and Material Safety Data Sheets. Vendors must submit their responses electronically through BPRO by a specified closing date, with an opportunity to ask clarification questions through the platform prior to submission.
The ownership disclosure is primarily informational, aimed at researching potential contracting opportunity disparities, with strict guidelines that the collected data will not influence contract award decisions. The solicitation emphasizes procurement preferences for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and County Business Enterprises (CBE), and explicitly notes that the county cannot request documentation or consider vendors' social, political, or ideological interests when evaluating vendor responsibility. Vendors are required to submit the ownership disclosure form through a separate link, not within the electronic bidding system, by the form date of 9/9/24.
