The document specifies unit pricing and lump-sum payment methodologies for eight required line items and two optional line items. Required work includes mobilization and demobilization (lump sum), installation of 4-inch PVC solid sewer pipe with excavation and backfill, underground two-way cleanouts, a 1,100-gallon single-compartment traffic-rated concrete settling tank with access risers and effluent filter, a 1,250-gallon traffic-rated concrete pump tank with Liberty FL70 Series pump and SJE Rhombus IFS Series electrical controls, 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC effluent transport line and manifold with valve control box, 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC sleeve encasement under driveway, and a gravel trench drainfield with 1.5-inch laterals including pressure testing and hydroseeding. Optional items include a 1,125-gallon two-compartment traffic-rated concrete septic tank and abandonment in place of an existing septic tank (lump sum). All payment items include comprehensive scope encompassing excavation, materials, compaction, testing, inspections, restoration, and site grading to manage surface runoff. Contractors must coordinate float and dosing settings with the septic designer prior to system startup and obtain Washington State Labor & Industries inspection for electrical work.
