About this file
This document is a Certification Regarding Terrorist Organizations & Boycotting of Israel form issued by the Town of Horizon City's Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing Department. The form requires a vendor to certify two key points: (1) the company is not on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies known to have contracts with foreign terrorist organizations, and (2) the vendor and its related companies do not and will not boycott Israel during the term of the agreement.
The certification specifically references Texas Government Code Chapters 2270.002 and 2252.151-154, which outline requirements for vendors doing business with the town. The document defines "boycott" as terminating business activities or taking actions intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel or entities doing business in Israel or Israeli-controlled territories. The form requires the vendor's representative to sign and date the document, which will be retained with the purchase order file.
