About this file

This is a Bid Table (Bid Tab 26-0021) for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, soliciting proposals for rental and purchase of traffic control equipment and safety wearables for city departments on an as-needed basis. The bid table contains 33 line items covering a wide range of traffic control equipment, including barricades (Types I, II, and III), traffic cones, channelizing barrels, sign stands, temporary warning signs, flashing lights, arrow boards, fence panels, safety vests, and various signage types. The estimated quantities range from 20 to 24,966 units per item, with vendors required to provide rental rates (daily, weekly, monthly) and purchase prices for each line item.

The bid allows vendors to propose optional items not included in the base bid list and offers value-added pricing options. Vendors must complete pink-shaded fields in the table, specifying brand/model, compliance with MUTCD and TxDOT requirements, and pricing details. The pricing evaluation will focus specifically on daily rental rates and purchase prices. The document provides flexibility for vendors to offer additional discounts on future purchases after the initial award, with an option to apply a percentage discount to subsequent item purchases. Vendors are also encouraged to provide supplemental product documentation and propose value-added services that could benefit the City, though these will not impact the primary bid evaluation.
