About this file
This is an Insurance and Indemnity Form attachment establishing contractor insurance requirements for the Wisconsin Pension Board in connection with investment consulting services. The Pension Board requires all contractors to maintain comprehensive insurance coverage prior to contract award, including Commercial General Liability Insurance with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, Business Automobile Liability Insurance of $1,000,000 per accident if vehicles are used in performance, Workers' Compensation Insurance meeting statutory requirements in Wisconsin, and Employers Liability Insurance with limits of $100,000 per occurrence and $500,000 policy aggregate. Additionally, contractors must secure Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions insurance with limits of $5,000,000 per occurrence and $10,000,000 aggregate to cover the professional services rendered under the contract.
Contractors are required to name the Pension Board, ERS, OBRA, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents as additional insureds on applicable policies and provide primary coverage status. All insurance carriers must maintain a current A.M. Best rating of A minus or better. Contractors must pass these identical insurance requirements to all subcontractors and lower-tier contractors. Certificates evidencing all coverages must be provided at contract execution and upon policy renewal, with insurers required to provide the Pension Board thirty days' advance written notice of any cancellation, nonrenewal, or material policy changes. The Pension Board reserves the right to require higher limits or additional coverage types as deemed necessary under individual purchase orders.
