About this file
This is a Proposal Affidavit form for Williamson County, Texas, related to RFP 26RFP19 for Food Services for the Williamson County Jail. The affidavit serves as a certification document that bidders must complete and submit as part of their proposal response. The form requires the responding firm to certify compliance with multiple Texas Government Code provisions and confirm that the proposal was not prepared in collusion with other respondents. Bidders must provide their company name, contact person name, title, email address, and signature with the date of submission.
The affidavit addresses six primary certification areas: confirmation that the firm does not boycott Israel (with exceptions for sole proprietorships or companies with fewer than ten employees or contracts valued under $100,000); certification of non-engagement with Iran, Sudan, foreign terrorist organizations, or sanctioned entities; confirmation that the firm does not boycott energy companies (with the same employee and contract value exceptions); certification against boycotts of firearm and ammunition industries (subject to the same exceptions); verification that the firm has not been debarred from doing business in Texas; and acknowledgment that Williamson County may allow other agencies to piggyback on awarded contracts. The form explicitly states that the Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if any certification is inaccurate, emphasizing the binding nature of the affidavit's representations.
