About this file
This file contains signed guidelines for non-employees with limited access to students in the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) in Georgia, establishing behavioral and operational expectations for vendors and contractors providing services within district facilities. The guidelines outline that nonemployees may only contact students as authorized by school administration, must remain in designated areas necessary for their assigned duties, and are prohibited from soliciting student participation in their work activities. Nonemployees are restricted to accessing school buildings during regular school hours or at times prearranged with administration and may not enter areas where children are present without an employee escort. All nonemployees are required to conduct themselves professionally in both actions and speech while on school premises, with smoking and offensive language explicitly prohibited.
These guidelines apply to vendors responding to the CCSD's RFP for Student Support Contracted Nursing Services, which seeks qualified agencies with expertise in staffing support for Special Education and related service providers. The guidelines establish the behavioral framework that all proposers and their personnel must acknowledge and comply with as a condition of conducting business within CCSD schools. By signing the guidelines document, vendors confirm their understanding of and commitment to these operational parameters, which serve to protect student safety and maintain appropriate professional boundaries during service delivery in the district.
