About this file
This is an Updated Questions & Answers document for RFQ 47QSWC26Q0021 that clarifies procurement requirements for a submersible pump system with associated control and electrical components.
The solicitation requires vendors to supply a submersible pump (equivalent models acceptable if meeting all requirements) along with an automatic control box as a separate item. The control box specifications include a 25-foot power pigtail wired to the control box disconnect switch, a 50-foot power cable from the control box to the pump, and two 40-foot floats for low and high level sensing. The control box must be weatherproof and include a run status light, hand/off/auto switch, power disconnect switch, and contactor reset button, all wired and installed for automatic operation. The government provided reference pump nameplate details but explicitly accepts equivalent pumps meeting all solicitation requirements. BAA (Buy American Act) compliance remains in effect as stated in the RFQ, though vendors may demonstrate if commodities meet a statutory exception. The delivery requirement is not less than 120 days from contract award, and no extensions to this timeline are acceptable at this time.
