About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) seeking information from industry on their capabilities to provide aircraft logistics and marketing services.

The RFI states that the Federal Government purchases and disposes of large amounts of personal property annually, including aircraft, and requires contractor support for certain sales-related activities. The desired services include aircraft valuation, marketing to potential buyers, handling of aircraft movement and storage, and performing inspections and maintenance. GSA is interested in understanding industry's approach to aircraft sales and valuation, as well as their qualifications such as having qualified pilots, secure hangar space, and maintenance capabilities. Responses to the RFI are due by December 9, 2024, and no contract award will result directly from this RFI. GSA may hold informational sessions with respondents after reviewing the submissions.
