About this file

This pre-solicitation notice seeks technical data and participation in developing requirements for the 2025 Main Bus Program solicitation to be issued by the General Services Administration's Automotive Acquisition Support Center. Vehicle types to be covered include adult work buses, school buses, shuttles, inter-city commuter coaches, and over-the-road touring coaches. Interested offerors should provide lists of makes and models they intend to submit by January 18, 2024. A combined pre-solicitation conference and industry day will be held virtually on that same date to review instructions and discuss changes from the 2020 program. Offerors are asked to review the 2020 solicitation for context. The anticipated 2025 solicitation will require similar proposal submissions and include standard terms and conditions. It is expected to be released in Spring 2024 under separate notice. This notice provides relevant details on the vehicle acquisition and invites firms to engage in the requirements development process.
