Summary of work in scope‐ Stephanie Golowacz With no effect on the contract, the following is a summary of the work in scope:
The base work includes everything with the exception of 2 options. Option 1 is for 4 new counsel tables.
Options 2 is for a new lectern.
Work hours are from 7:30am-5pm with the exception of noisy or odorous work. Shutdowns outside the project area must occur outside business hours. Work on the floor below with the exception of the jury room may be performed during normal hours. Work in the 8th floor Jury Room must be performed after hours.
There is no space for a dumpster. One can be brought in after hours and removed prior to 7:30am. There is no parking.
Based on our testing, we believe there is no ACM or LBP in the project area.
Please review the millwork quality requirements for requirements of this subcontractor
Work includes removal of millwork items (some to 8th floor storage and some disposed) and removal of carpet and some existing electrical. Benches are too big to be removed and must be relocated within the room to achieve the scope. Millwork mockups out of plywood are required for sight line review. Floors must be x-rayed for the new floorbox location and these final locations are to be coordinate with the Court. There is an option to run A/V conduits back to a large j-box at a location approved by the court or all conduits can run directly to the A/V closet. The Court will bring in a separate A/V contractor.
