3.2.2.1 DD Coordination
3.2.2.1.1 DD Systems Selections Analysis Meetings
Conduct/facilitate meetings with stakeholders, as required, to further define alternatives and required analysis for major/critical building systems and components.
3.2.2.1.2 DD Analyses and Calculations
Conduct analyses and provide supporting documentation for systems selections/optimizations.
3.2.2.1.3 DD Interdisciplinary Coordination Review Meeting
Prior to the DD submission, conduct an interdisciplinary Project Delivery Team review meeting.
3.2.2.2 Construction Work Sequence Planning
In coordination with the GSA and tenant agencies, develop, maintain and update a construction work sequence plan addressing:
• Construction phasing approach
• Use of any fast tracking to achieve best value for the Government
• Schedules for award of subcontract construction packages, including procurement cycles, submittal approvals, construction delivery, and testing/commissioning
• Temporary/swing space moves, including all aspects of tenant relocation(s)
(telecommunications, furniture relocations, etc.)
• Possible labor and/or material shortages
• Ordering of long-lead delivery materials
3.2.2.3 DD (35% Design) Submission
Provide a DD submission in accordance with the submission requirements listed in PBS- P100 and the following additional requirements:
Provide draft construction specifications, including Division 1 General Requirements for DB Contractor self-performed work and subcontracts, emphasizing project phasing, subcontractor requirements and preliminary project-specific construction management issues. The construction specifications must be prepared following the GSA MasterFormat 2004 Version and must include Division 1 General Requirements developed to a level corresponding to the level of completion of design. Coordinate Division 1 requirements with
GSA.
