About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for RFI 47PC5326R0013 addressing clarifications on facility modification requirements.
The document contains four answered questions regarding installation specifications for what appears to be a detention or secure facility renovation. Key clarifications include: (1) confirmation that an additional floor-mounted bench is not required, with the existing bench remaining in place; (2) direction that removed camera and microphone equipment areas must be patched and painted to match existing finishes rather than simply covered; (3) specification of a detention-grade anti-ligature shower seat similar to the "S-6510-SS Anti-Suicide Shower Seat" model as the required product; and (4) confirmation that Siemens is the Building Management System provider. Five additional question slots (numbers 5-10) are present in the document but contain no questions or answers. The document does not address pricing, response dates, award dates, or other standard contracting terms.

1 An additional bench is not needed, existing bench stays in place.
We are removing the existing camera and sound device. Are we just to install blank covers painted to match the ceiling?
Camera and micophone to be removed, areas need to be patched and painted to match existing.
I am also having a hard time finding a shower seat that meets all you specifications. Do you have a seat that you would recommend?

4 Who is the provider for the Building Management System? Siemens is the provider for the Building Management System.
It states that we are to install a floor mounted bench in the room. It was my understanding at the site visit that the existing bench is to remain in the current position. Am I to assume that we are not installing another bench?
