About this file

This document provides details on a federal contract opportunity for general construction services for hurricane repair projects at the Jose V. Toledo U.S. Courthouse in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service intends to issue a request for proposal for a qualified general contractor to provide construction services including replacing damaged exterior site lighting, demolishing the generator roof, scaffolding and roof work, concrete and masonry work, mechanical and electrical work, and fire and life safety improvements. The estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000-$4,000,000 and the period of performance is expected to be 362 calendar days. This will be a total small business set-aside issued in accordance with FAR 6.203, with a NAICS code of 236220 and size standard of $36.5 million in annual sales and receipts. The procurement method will utilize a trade-off source selection process permitting tradeoffs among cost/price and technical factors. Technical factors combined will be approximately equal to cost or price. The anticipated RFP issue date is November 13, 2019 with a minimum receipt of proposals of 30 calendar days. All information and amendments will be posted electronically to FedBizOpps.
