About this file

This document contains pricing exhibits for snow and ice removal services at multiple federal locations in Vermont. The exhibits establish annual base prices for snowfall quantities estimated at 20% below 10-year average levels for each location, to be paid through monthly installments. Contractors must remove snowfall up to the base quantities for the guaranteed annual base price, and will receive additional payments for quantities exceeding the base at per-inch rates calculated from the base price. The exhibits list the federal buildings and border stations requiring service, provide 10-year snowfall averages and sources from NOAA for each location, and specify that contractors exceeding available funding do so at their own risk of non-reimbursement.

A related federal contract opportunity seeks snow and ice removal services at the above locations in Vermont, with a solicitation issue date of May 19, 2023 and offer receipt deadline of June 26, 2023. The requirement is being procured by the General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 1.

EXHIBIT 02 SNOW / ICE SERVICES PRICING

LPOE, Highgate Springs

FEDERAL BLDG USPO&CU

BASE PRICE. The annual Base Price for snow services as identified on the award document (e.g., SF- 1449, SF-33, etc.) is expressed as a recurring monthly charge for ease of funding and billing. To determine the annual Base Price, Contractors shall price an estimated annual quantity of 54.51 Inches of snowfall to be plowed, sanded and removed. This estimated annual quantity of snowfall represents an amount 20% less than the historical annual average snowfall for the geographic area of the contract as determined by the following website: [http://www.noaa.gov/]. The annual Base Price of this work shall then be divided by 12 months to arrive at the monthly contract price.

The annual Base Price for each contract year is guaranteed for that year of the contract. The Contractor shall perform continuous snow services on an as-needed basis, but shall not exceed the annual Base Price per location. Contractor’s that proceed past available funding are on notice that they do so at their own risk and may not be reimbursed. The Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer in writing when the actual snowfall reaches 80% of the historical annual average as stated above. Additional funds to continue snow services may be allotted as necessary by the Contracting Officer, following confirmation at http://www.noaa.gov/.

Additional Snow Services. The unit price for additional snow services is established by dividing the total annual Base Price for this work by the estimated annual quantity of 54.51 Inches. This unit price shall be expressed per inch. Additional snow services will be ordered by a modification to the Contract.
