Amendment 0001, QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Question 1: Do you have an estimate of the sample volume for any of the analyses?

ANSWER 1: An estimate for mold air samples would be 165 samples, TVOC and

Formaldehyde badges would be 143, water samples for metals would be 6. Asbestos, lead, and other sample types would be as needed.

Question 2: “Microbiological Surface Sample (tape lift and/or swab)”: Is the desired output a mold/fungal report?

ANSWER 2: For mold the air-o-cells are the sample type preferred for the routine sampling that will be completed. If a tape lift/swab is collected a report would be requested.

Question 3: Will there be a need for location-specific accreditations or certifications based on where the samples are taken (ex: New York state for PLM/TEM)?

ANSWER 3: No, accreditation through AIHA-LAP or equivalent for each analysis type is necessary

Question 4: What specific types of analyses are required for “Drinking water sample analysis for potability”? (Requirements can vary by county)

ANSWER 4: It would primarily be metals analysis, other analysis could include VOCs, biological contaminants, radionuclides, etc on an as needed basis.

Question 5: Where is the work location?

ANSWER 5: The work location is determined by the Contractor (e.g., contractor’s laboratory).

Question 6: Is there a security requirement?

ANSWER 6: There are no security requirements (e.g., HSPD-12) on this contract.
