# Question GSA Response
1 How many users are anticipated to be using the solution?
The estimated base population is 1,500 users. Though, concurrent users per day is estimated to be around 300.
Are all users going to be internal users (1102 acquisition community), or will external users be anticipated to be using the solution? All users will be internal 1102 community.
What personas or user types are anticipated to be needed for the solution? Can you further define what functionality or access they would require?
Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists will use the solution. They both should access to the full functionality.
Is there an expectation that the tool would be able to suggest the right clauses based on certain rules?
Yes, the solution should have logic and rules to suggest clauses based on a variety of criteria as stated in the "inputs / logic" section of the requirements.
Is there an expectation to migrate/store historical data? If yes, what is the size of historical data?
Yes, the solution will need to store current and historical data for the clause sets of 30K+ contracts per year. We do not have an estimate on the size that data takes up in a solution.
Will the desired solution also be required to store data? If yes, what is the expected data storage capacity requirement?
Yes, the solution will need to store current and historical data for the clause sets of 30K+ contracts per year. We do not have an estimate on the size that data takes up in a solution.
7 Can links to video demos be provided with the RFI response? Yes. You can provide a link to any demos.
Would you kindly confirm if this is an entirely new effort or is there an incumbent currently providing these services? If so, would you please provide the incumbent contract details? There is no current contract or incumbent for this effort.
9 Would you please provide an approximate timeline for the RFP release? FY24 Q2-Q4 10 What will be the set-aside and contract value for this opportunity? GSA intends to utilize the results of the RFI to determine if a set-aside is/is not possible.
11 What will be the contract value for this opportunity?
We do not have an estimated value of a solution yet as we are in the first phase of market research.
The RFI references updates from Acqusition.gov. Historically, the eCFR has been the source of truth regarding FAR clauses. Could the government please provide background on whether Acquisition.gov or the eCFR is considered the source or truth?
The Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR) an up-to-date, but unofficial, version of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Acquisition.gov is an official website of the General Services Administration (GSA), and is a comprehensive online platform that serves as a central hub for acquisition-related information, policies, and tools. The two should match, but GSA uses Acquisition.gov as the source for the FAR and other regulations.
