About this file

This is a North Carolina Solicitation Addendum from the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources for an HVAC Replacement project at the CSS Neuse Civil War Museum. The solicitation (Number 46-DNCR-26-2116 IFB) seeks to replace HVAC units with specific American Standard Precedent Packaged Rooftop HVAC Units, including one 10-ton unit and two 7.5-ton units. The solicitation opening date is September 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET, with the contract term running from the date of final execution until October 31, 2025.

The addendum provides critical clarifications for potential vendors, explicitly stating that only American Standard units will be accepted and detailing specific requirements for equipment components such as economizers, humidity control units, and circuit configurations. The procurement will be awarded based on the lowest responsive bid that meets all specifications, with additional considerations for past performance, references, and financial documents. Vendors must possess a current HVAC License from the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors and are not required to provide electrical licensing, temporary cooling/heating, air balancing, or repairs to non-work humidifiers.
