About this file
This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services on behalf of the Toll Highway Authority (THA) in Illinois, documenting the fourth amendment to Contract RR-20-4525 for systemwide, on-call and as-needed construction management services. The original contract was advertised in Professional Services Bulletin PSB 20-1 on April 27, 2020, with BidBuy reference number 20-557THA-ENGCO-P-21210. The Selection Committee determined results on June 29, 2020, and the contract was awarded to Cheri K Lewis Engineers, LLC dba CKL Engineers, LLC on August 20, 2020, via board resolution 22078. The original contract term runs through September 30, 2026.
The original contract was awarded in the amount of $4,000,000.00 with no additional funds required for this amendment. The change order extends the contract expiration date to March 31, 2027, to accommodate completion of an open construction task scheduled for completion in late summer 2026, followed by contract closeout activities. The extension also preserves unallocated remaining fee from the original contract intended for future small activity tasks and allows for continued construction management services for ongoing and possible future construction contracts. This change order meets the posting requirement threshold as it extends the time of completion by more than 180 days.
