About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of VHF collars for big horn sheep on behalf of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). The RFQ is for OregonBuys Opportunity #63500-00004221, with a response due date of September 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM. The required delivery date for the collars is no later than November 1, 2022, to be delivered to a location in Ontario, Oregon. The RFQ specifies the technical requirements for the collars, including transmitter type, calibration tolerance, frequency stability, pulse rate variation, battery type, encapsulation, size, range, and battery life. The contract opportunity involves the jurisdictions of Malheur County and Oregon City.
The RFQ requires vendors to submit pricing, including unit cost and total cost, and allows for alternate bids on equivalent products. Vendors must be registered in the OregonBuys system, and the agency will determine if any offered products are "equal" to the specified brand. The contract is an intermediate procurement, and no protests will be accepted. The RFQ does not indicate any set-aside requirements or the existence of an incumbent contractor.
