About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form (AFMC Form 158) for a federal contract related to the repair of F-16 Oxygen Monitors. The document specifies detailed packaging and shipping requirements using military standards MIL-STD-129 (Revision R) and MIL-STD-2073-1 (Revision E), with particular emphasis on wood packaging material (WPM) restrictions to prevent invasive species introduction. For wooden packaging materials, vendors must use debarked wood that is heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes and certified by an agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee.

The packaging requirements cover multiple items, including NSN 1660DTH250038 and NSN 1660014733548BO, with specific packaging instructions for military long-line packaging. The document mandates that shipping containers be marked according to MIL-STD-129, potentially including additional requirements such as unit serial numbers or original equipment manufacturer details. The packaging specialist for this document is from the 406 SCMS/GULAA organization, with the form dated 06 JUN 2025, and relates to a solicitation (FA811825R0083) for repairing F-16 Oxygen Monitors with an estimated quantity of 30 units over a two-year contract period.
