About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document issued by Salt Lake Community College (SLCC), a member institution of the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE), for the procurement of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The RFP seeks a single contract award to provide software and services that will enhance operational efficiency, improve data integrity, and enable data-informed decision-making for SLCC Facilities Services, which oversees 2.6 million square feet of facilities across 8 campuses and sites throughout the Salt Lake Valley. The contract will have an initial term of three to five years, with the option for renewal for one additional term contingent upon the College's satisfaction with contractor performance. The RFP may also result in a Participating Addendum allowing other USHE member institutions—including Utah Valley University, Utah State University, Weber State University, University of Utah, Snow College, Southern Utah University, Utah Tech University, and eight technical colleges—to utilize the resulting contract on a voluntary basis.
The document does not provide specific information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or budget amounts. SLCC Facilities Services currently manages a high volume of work requests and planned maintenance activities across diverse asset types, including instructional spaces, laboratories, athletic facilities, and infrastructure systems, indicating a need for scalable systems and consistent processes to coordinate skilled trades and service priorities. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest evaluation score as justified by the procurement code.
