About this file
This is a Release and Indemnity Agreement form from the City of Owensboro, Kentucky, designed to be executed by contractors performing duties or activities on City-owned property. The document establishes the legal framework for contractor liability and City protection, but does not specify particular services, quantities, response dates, or contract terms as it serves as a general template for various contractor engagements.
The agreement requires contractors to assume full responsibility and liability for negligent acts of their employees, comply with all occupational safety and health regulations, and indemnify the City against any claims, costs, or judgments arising from contractor operations. The document includes signature lines for authorized contractor representatives and notary public attestation, with the City's Purchasing Department contact information (270-687-8431, 101 E. 4th Street, Owensboro, KY 42302-9003) provided for administrative purposes. No pricing terms, funding sources, or set-aside provisions are specified as this is a liability protection instrument rather than a procurement solicitation.
