About this file
The document is an Insurance Certificate from Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) detailing insurance requirements for contractors providing services at GCPS locations. The certificate outlines mandatory insurance coverage that contractors must maintain throughout the duration of their agreement, including specific minimum insurance types and coverage limits.
The insurance requirements include three primary categories: Worker's Compensation (with $1,000,000 per occurrence limit), Commercial General Liability Insurance (with aggregate limits ranging from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000), and Automobile Insurance (with a $500,000 combined single limit per accident). Contractors must provide insurance certificates to GCPS, naming the school district as an additional insured, and ensure that 30 days' written notice is given in the event of policy cancellation or material changes. The certificates must be sent to the Department of Purchasing and Property Management at 437 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee, Georgia, and contractors are prohibited from commencing services until all required insurance documentation is submitted and approved.
