About this file
This document is the Project Specifications for the building demolition portion of the 127EAW24R0035 - Sardine CG Toilet Replacement contract opportunity.
The specifications require the complete demolition and removal of existing wood and masonry structures, including vault toilets, at the project site. The contractor must carefully remove and dispose of any asbestos-containing vent pipes, and account for the potential presence of lead-based paint. The contractor is responsible for pumping out the human waste from the existing vault toilets, and for backfilling and compacting the site to specified requirements after demolition. All demolition waste must be legally disposed of at an EPA-approved landfill.
The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 127EAW24R0035, is for the full replacement of the toilet facilities at the Sardine CG site within the Tahoe National Forest. This is a total small business set-aside opportunity with an estimated project value between $100,000 and $250,000. Requests for Information are due by June 4, 2024, and a pre-proposal site visit will not be held.
