About this file

This document is a Certificate of Compliance Notice issued by the Office of the County Auditor's Compliance Review Office for Jackson County, Missouri. The notice mandates that all vendors doing business with Jackson County must obtain a Certificate of Compliance prior to submitting a bid response. Failure to submit this certificate by the specified timeline (five business days before the bid response deadline) may result in bid rejection.

The Certificate of Compliance requires vendors to meet two primary criteria: first, to be properly listed and assessed on Jackson County tax rolls with no outstanding tax delinquencies, and second, to attest compliance with Chapter 6 of the Jackson County Code, which prohibits discriminatory practices and promotes Equal Employment Opportunity. Vendors can complete the application online through the provided website, and questions can be directed to cro@jacksongov.org or by calling 816-881-3302. The document emphasizes the mandatory nature of this compliance process and the potential consequences of non-adherence.
