About this file

This document is an Exceptions Attachment for a professional services contract with Milwaukee County Parks, specifically related to the Habitat Restoration Plan for the Kohl Park Wildlife Enhancements Project. The attachment provides a standardized compliance checklist that allows potential respondents to indicate their agreement, exceptions, or non-compliance with 28 different contract terms and conditions, ranging from definitions and scope of services to legal provisions like choice of law and assignment limitations. Respondents are instructed to mark their compliance status for each section and fully explain any exceptions they may have.

The document outlines a process for proposers to formally document any proposed modifications or clarifications to the contract terms, with the understanding that all exceptions are subject to Milwaukee County's discretion and approval. If no exceptions are listed, the respondent is considered to agree to all terms in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The county reserves the right to reject a proposal if exceptions cannot be mutually resolved. The attachment includes a blank space for company details, signature, and a comprehensive explanation of any exceptions taken to the standard contract terms.
