About this file

The document is an Addendum #2 to a Request for Proposals (RFP #6000001494) issued by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for Performance of Expert Professional PATH Origin and Destination Survey Services. The RFP solicits survey services on a "call-in" basis during 2023-2028, with the main survey data collection to be completed by the end of October 2023. The proposal submission deadline has been changed to 2:00 P.M. on May 12, 2023, and the contract appears to include potential for multiple survey tasks beyond the initial origin and destination survey.

The addendum addresses two key questions from potential bidders: clarification on the data collection timeline and confirmation that additional survey tasks may be requested under the contract. While specific pricing details are not provided in this document, the RFP indicates a flexible "call-in" service model where the Port Authority can request survey services as needed. Interested parties with questions are directed to contact Ms. Jessica Smith at JLSmith@panynj.gov, and the document is issued from the Port Authority's office located at 4 World Trade Center in New York City.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PERFORMANCE OF EXPERT

PROFESSIONAL PATH ORIGIN AND DESTINATION SURVEY

SERVICES AS REQUESTED ON A “CALL-IN” BASIS DURING 2023-2028

(RFP# 6000001494)– ADDENDUM #2

Dear Sir or Madam:

The following are questions from RFP recipients. The questions and the corresponding Authority answers are provided for your information and use, as appropriate.

Question #1: The RFP states data collection must be completed by May 2023. Based on the due date of the proposal, it does not appear the project will be under contract at that time. Please clarify when PATH would like to conduct fieldwork.

Answer #1: Data collection for the main survey should be completed by end of October 2023.

Question #2: The RFP refers to “call in” survey services and task orders, but also seems to only refer to an OD survey to be conducted. Are there other potential tasks and surveys to be conducted under this contract?

Answer #2: Yes.

Please Note: The date for receipt of proposals for the subject RFP has been changed to 2:00 P.M. on May 12, 2023.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Jessica Smith at JLSmith@panynj.gov.
